TRUST & PRIVACY · PILOT VERSION
Know where
your words go.
Someone is an interactive product prototype. This page describes what it actually does today and the protections required before real organisational listening starts.
The public demo
Northstar, its people counts, scores, patterns and actions are fictional example data. Changes to demo decisions and feedback are stored in this browser only. They do not reach an employer, an employee or a board. Clearing the demo removes this browser’s changes.
Live practice conversations
An access code enables a real AI conversation using OpenAI. Voice audio is streamed to OpenAI to produce replies and a transcript. Text messages and the transcript are sent to OpenAI to generate follow-up questions and a summary.
Someone does not record or save audio files. The application does not persist transcripts or summaries on its server. Conversation text and the editable summary remain in this page’s memory and are cleared when you leave or reload the page. You can download an approved summary to your own device. Browser extensions, downloads and shared devices are outside this page’s control.
Practice conversations never enter the example company’s reports. Use fictional work situations, and avoid real names, customer information or sensitive personal details. The live conversation is intended to evaluate the experience.
The AI provider
OpenAI processes the audio and text needed for a live conversation. API content is not used for model training by default. Standard API abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days. Someone has not verified that this pilot has Zero Data Retention enabled. Requests for text generation disable application response storage.
Removing a name from a summary does not remove it from audio or text already processed by the provider. Read OpenAI’s data controls for the provider’s current conditions.
The reporting boundary
The intended product gives employees access to their own approved summary. Owners, boards, leadership, HR and administrators receive protected group results. They do not receive individual transcripts or summaries.
The demo starts at a minimum of 10 unique respondents per reported question and group. This is a prototype assumption, not a guarantee of anonymity. Small groups, identifying stories, overlapping filters and comparisons over time require additional protections. Hidden data must remain hidden in exports, AI prompts and APIs as well as the interface.
Someone does not create individual risk scores, rank employees or managers, infer emotions from voices, or use contributions to make employment decisions.
Choice and follow-through
People can choose text, skip a question or end a conversation. A summary is not submitted until reviewed and approved. Reports need to distinguish what people said, what the AI inferred, what is uncertain and what leadership decided. Every published commitment should have an owner and a follow-up date.
Before a real company starts
A customer pilot needs organisational agreements, a verified data-processing and retention setup, real sign-in and role permissions, isolated storage, deletion and access procedures, and review of disclosure risks. Participation and the intended uses of results must be clear to employees and their representatives.
Someone’s current public demo does not provision real employee accounts, accept real organisational submissions or run a whistleblowing service. Urgent or confidential case reports need the organisation’s established channels.
Pilot enquiries
Submitting the pilot form saves your name, work email, company, role, company size, language choices and stated priority in private Vercel storage in Stockholm. The form also records a broad referral category, such as partner or website, when supplied in the link. We use these details to assess your enquiry and contact you about a pilot. They are separate from conversation data and are not sent to OpenAI.
Only the Someone operator with authorised Vercel access can retrieve enquiries. We review outstanding enquiries and remove records when no longer needed; you can request access, correction or deletion by emailing Peter below. The form does not enrol you in a marketing mailing list, create a subscription or take payment. No automated email is sent by the form.
Site data and contact
The site does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Vercel hosts the site and processes technical request data. The pilot access cookie protects live AI features and expires after one hour. Demo preferences and actions are kept in browser storage. You can reset them in the app.
The alternative email link opens your email application. An email is only sent if you choose to send it there. For questions about Someone, contact peter.rosdahl@gmail.com.
